The 2026-2027 Special Education Annual Plan/Part B Flow-Through Application for Harrisonburg City Public Schools has been approved by the school board.  If you would like a copy of this plan, please contact the Department of Special Education at (540) 434-2752. Under provisions of the 2004 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA 2004), its implementing regulations, and the Regulations Governing Special Education Programs for Children with Disabilities in Virginia (effective January 25, 2010), local educational agencies (LEAs) are required to submit an Annual Plan/Part B Flow-Through Application for providing special education and related services to children with disabilities.  Questions regarding the annual plan should be submitted to Anthony Walker, Director of Special Education, (540) 434-2752 or awalker@harrisonburg.k12.va.us.
