Both HHS teams had success at the the Electric Vehicle Grand Prix, held on Saturday, April 13 at the Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative. Seventeen teams from around the Valley and Maryland participated in the event. 

HHS Team 455, who recently raced in the UAE, came in first overall with 57 laps on one charge and HHS Team 554 came in 2nd place with with 50 laps.  In addition, the marketing team won the Team/Event Marketing award for their work on a tremendous website. 

The HHS EV teams are coached by Geoff Estes (the 2024 HHS Educator of the Year!) and Seth Shantz.
