Congratulations on your Student Teacher placement and welcome to HCPS!  We hope that your Student Teaching experience has a positive impact on your learning as well as HCPS students. 

Please complete the following steps prior to the first day of your Student Teacher placement:

1. Contact Elizabeth Jerlinski or Lauren Friend at (540) 434-9916 to schedule an appointment
2. On the day of your appointment please bring the following:

• Drivers License and original Social Security Card or Passport
• $10.00 cash, check or money order made payable to HCPS (to complete the required criminal background check)
• $10.00 money order made payable to VA Dept. of Social Services
• Negative TB Screening or test. This needs to be completed within the past 12 months.
