Running Club/ Grupo de Correr
For 8 weeks in the Fall, students will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5 after school and learn how to run/walk a 5K. Students will participate as part of a team but also as an individual.
Fortunately, we are able to provide bus transportation for those who need it. However, we want parents and guardians to be aware that it could take some time for students to be dropped off due to the busing process. Please pick up your student by 5pm if they are not riding the bus.
The program concludes with a noncompetitive 5K run/walk on November 11th at Spotswood that you are invited to attend with your child.
The season will start Tuesday, September 19 and go to November 11. For any further questions about Spotswood Running Club, call the school at 540-434-3429 or contact one of us coaches via email.
We coaches are teachers from Spotswood and we love being active. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity.

Durante 8 semanas en el otoño, los estudiantes se reunirán los martes y jueves de 3:45 a 5:00 después de la escuela y aprenderán a correr/caminar en preparación para una carrera de 5 km. Los estudiantes participarán como parte de un equipo pero también como individuos.
Afortunadamente, podemos proporcionar transporte en autobús para aquellos que lo necesitan. Sin embargo, queremos que los padres y tutores sean conscientes de que podría llevar algún tiempo dejar a los estudiantes debido al proceso de transporte. Por favor, recoja a su estudiante a las 5:00 p. m. si no estará viajando en el autobús.
El programa concluye con una carrera/caminata no competitiva de 5 km el 11 de noviembre en Spotswood a la cual usted está invitado a asistir con su estudiante.
La temporada comenzará el martes, 19 de septiembre y será hasta el 11 de noviembre. Si tiene más preguntas sobre el Club de corredores de Spotswood, llame a la escuela al 540-434-3429 o comuníquese con uno de nuestros entrenadores por correo electrónico.
