Color Guard Commander

I am Cadet Major Brandon Johnston. I am in 11th grade. I am a LET 3, next year I will be a LET 4. I am the Color Guard Commander. My role as the Color Guard Commander is to prepare and inventory color guard equipment, as well as oversee color guard performances. I have been a part of the Ball Committee, JLAB Academics, Color guard, Step, and Drill Teams. Extracurricular activities to take are Mu Alpha Theta and Key Club. A short-term goal I have is to get into the Raider Team. An intermediate term goal I have in JROTC is to get an 85th percentile on the cadet challenge. An intermediate goal I have outside of JROTC is to join the National Honor Society. A long-term goal I have in JROTC is to get on Top 7 as the Honor Guard Commander. A long-term goal I have outside of JROTC is to graduate Blue Ridge Scholars with an associate degree and honors. After high school I plan to earn a scholarship to JMU to do the ROTC program there.
