Spotswood Elementary Career Fair

The 4th graders at Spotswood Elementary recently participated in a Career Fair.  Community members volunteered to come in to talk about a variety of careers.  Among the many represented, children heard from a veterinarian, construction boss, hair stylist, ROTC, Harrisonburg Fire and Rescue, Harrisonburg Police Department and a JMU dance instructor.




The children asked questions, took notes and discussed the variety of careers they participated in.  At the conclustion, children wrote thank you notes to their presenters as an example of good citizenship.
