Early Dismisal Friday
Dear Dr. Kizner,
I was wondering if you could post your letter to facutly and staff as to why school is closing early on Friday. A staff member shared the letter with me and it helped put an end to the rampant rumors that have been circulating among students and parents of why school is releasing early. Thanks so much.

RE:Early Dismisal Friday
Thanks for your comment. The explanation for this decision has been posted to our website as well as below:

To be very honest with you I made the decision after walking around the schools Monday. Many of my staff seemed tired and stressed. I know that administrators worked over the weekend to get school ready for the students. I also understand it only gave parents four days notice but after weighing everything I thought it was the correct thing to do. It might not be the best decision but I think by Friday it will be a long week for most and many folks will be ready for their vacation. Thank you for understanding.
