School times
Do you have the power to change the times for the schools.
I don't believe that you should transport high school student & middle school students on the same buses (at the same time).
The middle school students shouldn't be subjected to how the high school students talk & act on the bus. The middle school students will get to that point all on their own. Besides, some buses that carry high school & middle school students at the same time are OVER CROWDED. If you change the school times just a little bit the buses won't be over crowded & the drivers would have a more enjoyable & comfortable ride (less headaches).

See below for possible new school times:

Harrisonburg H.S. 7:30 - 2:20
Both Middle schools 8:15 - 3:05
All elementary schools 9:00 - 3:50

RE:School times
Thank you for your comment. We have a committee reviewing routes and the starting time issue and they will make a recommendation to the board at a later time that won't impact this upcoming school year. Most of our surrounding school systems have children of different ages riding the same school bus. We have purchased additional buses for next school year to help with growth. If you have a specific concern about behavior on a bus, please notify the principal or Craig Mackail.
